Lex Tan (they/them) is a queer artist living with intellectual disability and Delusional Meningitis Disorder. When they make art, Lex feels confident, emotionally grounded, and connected to their queer identity through the glamourous, pop-culture icons they reference in their illustrations. Lex dreams of becoming a famous artist and ambassador for queer people with disability.
Lex Tan's practice is supported through accessible workshops at Studio ARTES, a creative not-for-profit that programs and fosters opportunities for adults with disability.
