PUBLIC ART ACTIVATION
EMBRACE THE RAINBOW, 2023

I was asked by Pacific Square Shopping Centre and their creative installations team Chas Clarkson to live paint two large melting ice cream sculptures on site at their WorldPride activation display.
The activation was a part of the WorldPride Rainbow Cities program.
They wanting the sculpture to feature the progressive pride flag colours and connect to the ice cream shape. I create a design that looked like the ice creams were melting. I also included my signature eye/heart motif that symbolises my “you do you” approach to my art practice.
