WORKSHOP & ACTIVATION
BIRDS OF A FEATHER, 2022

I was asked to create a drop-in style workshop aimed at youth between the ages of 6-12 years for the Campbelltown Art Centre’s Sunset Sessions Program. With the artworks created during the workshop being displayed in the centre.
I came up with a theme based around a flock of birds. The youth were asked to collaborate in small groups to paint and decorate large scale bird artworks. They were to make them as colourful as possible.
We were able to engage 35+ youth over the workshop with many working together and collaborating.
The display remained up in the foyer of the centre for a 1-2 month period. Serving as a great way to bring youth back to the centre.
