CHILDREN’S EXHIBITION
TINY GARDENS, 2021
MUSEUM’S WONDER CUPBOARD
MURRAY ART MUSEUM ALBURY (MAMA)
Tiny Gardens is a celebration of childhood and the memories we have of time spent playing in the garden, discovering ladybugs, running away from bees and chasing butterflies.
All works are made from repurposed cardboard paper straws and toothpicks, with hand painted details. I got inspiration from the memories of making models for school projects. I wanted my audience to see that i used cardboard and maybe think about making their own tiny Garden.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of Tiny Garden Workshops that will be run in early 2022.
The Museum’s Wonder Cupboard is focused on public programming for kids/youth. 5 cupboards are located throughout the gallery to be discovered.
