My workshops are a great way to engage with your community.
In each one I share tips for creative problem solving and teach skills that can inspire participants to continue making after the workshop is over. A combination of inspiration & motivation that is perfect for artists, students studying (senior high school or university), teachers or adults with a love of art & craft. The workshop are also suitable for all age and skill levels.
PROTOTYPE PLAY
SESSION
Participants will create wearable art pieces, split pin figures &/or small sculpture prototypes using cardboard and simple construction techniques. The sessions is focused on 2D & 3D experimentation. Resulting in participants walking away with a potential bank of practice solutions for artworks
& classroom projects.
WEARABLES FROM YOUR RECYCLING WORKSHOP
Participants create a brooch/pin or necklace using cardboard and paint. They are shown simple cardboard construction techniques and guided through the process.Its fun, playful & and often lead to participants making multiple pieces with confidence.
IdeaS Generator
WORKSHOP
Participants are given the brief to make an animal that can stand on its own using cardboard & hot glue. Throughout the workshop
we explore how they could use this animal as inspiration for creating new artworks & opportunities for client work.
With a focus on creative problem solving, proactive
thinking & group discuss.
PAPER ORNAMENTS
WORKSHOP
Participants colour and make ornaments using simple paper construction methods. This workshop is perfect as a low sensory activity or in a ‘come & go’ style format. With the option to theme the ornaments eg: Christmas, Festivals, Halloween, Pride etc.
